Power Paintball – Pro Level Instruction from Ollie Lang
Oliver “Ollie” Lang is the guy to beat in the world of paintball, with an amazing record of winning every pro competition, often more than once (or twice). He has been playing for Team Ironmen since 2006, after making pro paintball history for being paid to leave team Dynasty and rejoin Team Ironmen to endorse Dye Precision’s products.
Power Paintball is an excellent resource for both the beginner and intermediate paintball enthusiast, and is written in a logical sequence and progression that is easy to follow. He covers the highlights of his career, history of paintball, and leagues (nice to know), then delves into the need to know information including basic rules, positions, strategies and techniques, essentials of team play, paintball drills, equipment, and safety.
He also discusses how to mentally rule the game, and covers the general terms associated with paintball; the paintball “slang” that’s going to help the newbie out immensely on the field.
